Job Title: Belting Technician
Location: Peachtree City, GA
Reports to: Department Manager

Main responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Performs preparations including but not limited to determining the amount of fabric required, cleaning work area, and gather other supplies to be used in completing a work order according to quality specifications
- Operates equipment and machines accordingly to specific operational and safety instructions
- Prepares cutting belting fabrics and other materials according to work instructions and quality requirements; completing required paperwork correctly; rotating to various positions within the department
- Examines his/her work including, inspecting parts for accuracy in dimensions, color, visual inspections for cosmetic and surface defects, measuring devices to meet work order or drawing specifications.
- The Fabric Technician/Cutter may be required to perform additional duties not specifically describe herein.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to stand-walk for up to 8-hours per day.
· Accurately count/attention to detail.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs, push pull up to 25lbs.
· Ability to read and understand a tape measure
· Ability to read and interpret production schedules
· Operate a manual cutting machine
· Excellent math skills
· Ability to exercise the best safety practices always while on company time.
· Performing repetitive motions throughout shift.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Regular Hours: 8:00am- 4:30pm
- Overtime Hours: 6:00am- 4:30pm
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Language:
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
