American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience and ARRT (R) certification for a 13-week assignment.
-
>MRI Tech unit within a radiology/cardiology department
-
Adult acute care, ICU, ER/Trauma, and outpatient patient populations
-
Day shift 4x12 hours, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
-
Weekend requirement of 1 Saturday per month
-
Candidate expected to float as needed
-
EMR: Epic charting system required
-
Performs abdomen and pelvis imaging including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and female/male pelvis studies
-
Additional imaging includes head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular studies
-
Equipment used may include GE, Philips, and Toshiba MRI systems and PACS
-
>Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI specialty required
-
ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
-
Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging required
-
Epic charting system experience required
-
Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
-
Skilled in preparation/administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
-
Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required
-
License required if applicable

Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration

Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

>Performs a wide range of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological imaging

Works within adult acute care, ICU, ER/Trauma, and outpatient settings
-
Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at a different rate
-
First-time travelers are not required for this position
-
RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; no time off accepted after submission
-
Pass/Fail competency exam required for clearance with up to 3 attempts allowed
-
Compliance labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
-
State-required fingerprinting may be necessary and could involve travel
