Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare simple food items in accordance with food safety standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
- Serve food promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly interaction and attentive service.
- Process cash and card transactions smoothly, handling cash register operations with accuracy and integrity.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the customer experience by recommending popular or new products.
- Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies regularly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food preparation or handling food items directly.
- Manage customer orders through POS systems, ensuring accuracy in retail sales transactions and food service order management.
- Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment as needed, contributing to efficient food production during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS effectively.
- Food service experience including serving, cashiering, or food preparation is desirable.
- Strong skills in basic math for processing cash transactions and retail math for sales management.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean workspace aligns with our standards of sanitation and safety.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while delivering a positive guest experience.
- Experience working in the food industry or retail sales transactions enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
