Cook / Kitchen Team Member — The Spill Kitchen
The Spill Kitchen is looking for a reliable, fast, and experienced Cook/Kitchen Team Member to join our team. We need someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and consistently prepare quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menu items including wings, shrimp, burgers, pasta, tacos, fries, and other bar-style foods
- Operate fryers, griddle, stove, and other kitchen equipment
- Prep ingredients before and during shifts
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Complete Uber Eats, DoorDash, and in-house orders accurately and quickly
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen throughout the shift
- Wash dishes and clean equipment/workstations as needed
- Properly store, label, and rotate food
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
- Follow all food safety and sanitation requirements
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Able to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Must maintain a clean and professional work area
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Location: The Spill Kitchen — Opa-locka, FL
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Schedule: Evening, late-night, and weekend shifts
We are looking for someone who is dependable, clean, quick, and takes pride in the food they put out.
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
