Job Summary
The Digital Accessibility Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting the University's compliance with Title II digital accessibility requirements. The position manages accessibility monitoring tools and vendor relationships, coordinates institutional accessibility initiatives, supports accessibility governance, and collaborates with website owners and stakeholders to improve the accessibility of digital content and services. The position serves as a university resource for accessibility compliance, reporting, policy development, training, and continuous improvement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates the University's digital accessibility compliance program by administering accessibility monitoring and remediation platforms, managing vendor relationships, overseeing accessibility monitoring activities, and supporting institutional initiatives aligned with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), WCAG standards, and other applicable accessibility requirements.

Coordinates accessibility monitoring and remediation efforts by reviewing accessibility reports, identifying compliance risks and remediation priorities, collaborating with website owners, content managers, and technical staff to resolve accessibility issues, validating corrective actions, and monitoring institutional progress toward accessibility compliance.

Supports institutional accessibility governance by providing administrative and programmatic support to the Digital Accessibility Task Force and other governance groups; assisting with the development and maintenance of accessibility policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines; and supporting institutional compliance with applicable federal and state accessibility requirements.

Develops and delivers accessibility outreach, education, and guidance by creating training materials, resource documents, and best practice guidance; consulting with website owners and content creators regarding accessibility requirements; and promoting awareness of digital accessibility throughout the University community.

Supports the administration and accessibility of University web content by performing website content updates as needed, assisting with accessibility improvements for digital communications, developing monthly accessibility reports and performance metrics, analyzing compliance trends, and preparing reports and presentations for University leadership and stakeholders.

Serves as a campus resource for digital accessibility by providing consultation, coordinating accessibility-related projects, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Communications, Education, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing web-based projects, vendors, accessibility initiatives, compliance programs, or related activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of digital accessibility standards, including WCAG, Title II of the ADA, Section 504, and Section 508 requirements.
- Knowledge of website content management systems and digital content publishing practices.
- Knowledge of accessibility monitoring and remediation platforms.
- Knowledge of project management principles and vendor coordination.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret accessibility reports, identify compliance risks, and develop remediation recommendations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through verbal and written communication.
- Ability to develop policies, procedures, training materials, and guidance documents.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships with faculty, staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and web-based software platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in higher education.
Experience with accessibility monitoring platforms such as Siteimprove, DubBot, Monsido, AudioEye, or Level Access.
Accessibility certifications such as CPACC, WAS, or related credentials.
Experience developing accessibility policies, compliance documentation, or institutional training materials.
