Responsibilities and Duties:

- a commitment to collaborative and creative approach to instruction, with willingness to work with colleagues and students in a dynamic setting
- comfort and facility with subject-based and school-based technology (e.g., Google applications, school information systems / learning management systems, etc.)
- commitment to the school’s mission and vision by participating fully in extracurricular and community activities regularly (including those sometimes beyond routine school hours)
- readiness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the school community and its evolving needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- a Bachelor’s degree at minimum (Master’s degree preferred) in education and/or a related academic field (e.g., physics, math, engineering, computer science)
- previous experience teaching (secondary and/or all-girls and Advanced Placement and/or college experience preferred)
- experience with microcontrollers and single-board computers such as Arduino and programming languages such as Java and Python
- familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting
- comfortable with 3D parametric CAD platforms such as TinkerCAD and Onshape, and project-based learning (PBL) teaching methods
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- good humor, flexibility, energy, creativity and patience to adapt to the daily needs of adolescent girls, as well as a passion for learning and ability to motivate students

Salary Range: $55,000 to $85,000
