Responsibilities:
- Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
Skills:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for litigating cases in court, negotiating settlements, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing legal advice to clients. You should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to the state bar association. Strong communication, research, analytical, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team is also important. Proficiency in legal research tools and software is preferred.
