Summary
Cleans work areas, offices, and halls by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares labor card(s), job ticket(s}, and other reports, forms, records, and related paperwork for assigned area.
- Ensures established productivity standards are obtained.
- Interacts with other employees in a polite, courteous, and productive manner.
- Responsible for adhering to established "Work Rules."
- Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
- Ensure all personal protection equipment is always monitored and used
- Utilizes process sheet information as a guide to determine work requirements
- Sweeps, dusts, and mops office areas.
- Know how to stop all machinery used in the cleaning of work area and know where the controls are for all this machinery.
- Maintains restrooms in a neat and sanitary manner, replenish supplies
- Maintains supply of materials at own work center
- Ensures that work output meets established quality policy.
- Replenishes supplies in coffee bars and conference room kitchen.
- Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.
- Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways and offices.
- Sweeps and spot mops floors as needed.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door anels, and sills.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Notify maintenance dept. of any maintenance needed beyond their scope of maintaining the building.
- Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
