American Traveler is hiring a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a night shift travel contract, performing polysomnographic studies across pediatric through geriatric patient populations.

Work in a dedicated sleep diagnostics unit performing polysomnography studies
-
Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric age groups
-
Sleep pathology cases include respiratory events, cardiac events, and CPAP/BiPAP titration studies
-
3x12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

14-week contract

Advanced knowledge in the clinical application of polysomnographic studies required

Experience scoring sleep/wake physiology studies required

Experience with CPAP/BiPAP titration during polysomnographic studies required

2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

License required if applicable

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Monitor, document, and score respiratory events, cardiac events, and sleep pathology in accordance with Joint Commission and departmental policies

Determine appropriate use of CPAP/BiPAP during studies and provide optimal exam data to support physician diagnosis

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission, as requests made after submission will not be approved

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
