Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Female Fitter to join our vibrant lingerie retail team. In this role, you will provide expert fitting services, assist customers in selecting the perfect lingerie pieces, and ensure each garment fits flawlessly to enhance confidence and comfort. Your enthusiasm for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and technical knowledge of garment construction will help create a welcoming shopping experience. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assess their fitting needs with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Measure customers accurately using tape measures and other fitting tools to determine proper sizing
- Assist clients in selecting lingerie styles that suit their preferences, body types, and comfort requirements
- Conduct fittings on mannequins or directly on customers, making adjustments as needed for optimal fit
- Use sewing machines, hand sewing techniques, and pressing machines to make minor alterations or repairs on garments
- Operate pressing machines safely to ensure garments are presented in pristine condition
- Maintain a clean, organized fitting area and ensure all garments are properly pressed and displayed
- Provide expert advice on garment construction, fabric types, and styling options to enhance customer satisfaction
Experience
- Prior experience in fashion retail, especially within lingerie or intimate apparel stores
- Hands-on garment sewing experience including stitching, hand sewing, and working with sewing machines
- Knowledge of garment construction principles and fabric handling techniques
- Familiarity with pressing machines and press operation for finishing garments professionally
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating sizes, and making precise alterations
- Experience working with custom apparel production or tailoring is a plus
