Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical-Surgical team on night shift. This role provides essential, hands-on patient care, supporting nurses and helping ensure patients are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting

Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff

Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning

Assist with equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and bedside needs

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and hydration

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe care environment

Assist with basic clerical and documentation tasks

Communicate effectively with nurses and care team members

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Support both Med/Surg and Emergency Department needs based on patient volume

Starting wage of $17.00 per hour based on experience

High school diploma or equivalent required

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required (or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant)

BLS certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Previous clinical or patient care experience preferred

Ability to safely lift and assist patients (50+ lbs as needed)
