Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a related food service role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
