THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is an early-stage AI research lab (~30 people) building an agentic platform that automates construction workflows across design, cost estimation, and vendor management — with a mission to cut construction turnaround from months to hours or days. Momentum is real: 85+ projects executed in the first 11 months of customer engagement, representing a cumulative portfolio worth ~$4.7B. This is a high-ownership AE seat selling a highly technical product into heavy industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage a high-volume pipeline from discovery through close. Run demos, proposals, and follow-ups with mid-market decision-makers. Partner with SDR and marketing to convert leads. Take a consultative approach mapping client pain points to solutions. Drive post-sale expansion through upsell/cross-sell. Maintain CRM accuracy and forecasting. Collaborate with Customer Success on retention. Represent the company at trade shows and events.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 90 days: learn the product and construction buyer, build pipeline, and close early deals. First year: consistently close and expand accounts and help shape the sales motion.
MUST-HAVES
2+ years B2B sales selling highly technical tools, preferably into construction or manufacturing companies; consultative, high-volume closing ability.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Construction-tech, manufacturing, or heavy-industry sales; experience in early-stage environments; comfort with international/multi-geo teams.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$150K–$250K base (USD), $300K–$500K OTE. Visa sponsorship considered case-by-case.
LOCATION & WORK MODEL
San Francisco. In office 3–4 days/week preferred; remote considered if able to work from the SF office the first week of each month.
