Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates during busy hours or events like banquets and catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as necessary to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet venues.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy periods.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals.
