Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our construction project finances. Duties
- Lead the development and oversight of project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and ongoing financial tracking using tools like ProCore, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office.
- Manage construction schedules and project timelines through Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and other project management software to coordinate construction activities effectively.
- Oversee contract administration, including review and management of construction plans, contracts, and change orders to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor construction regulatory compliance and safety standards across all projects, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Coordinate with project managers and teams on construction schedule coordination, project progress tracking, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
- Supervise financial reporting processes, including cost management analysis, project financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead teams in managing complex infrastructure projects by providing guidance on construction estimating, blueprint reading, and project leadership.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong focus on financial oversight for large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera P3, along with proficiency in Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage construction budgets effectively while ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple projects.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations, including understanding of safety protocols, construction plans, and site logistics.
- Strong background in managing teams within a construction management role with excellent time management skills.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, contracts management, blueprint reading, and project coordination principles.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to lead project teams toward successful completion of complex infrastructure initiatives.
