Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic software development team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Java-based applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for Java applications, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Develop robust backend services using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL options such as MongoDB.
- Implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate seamless integration across platforms.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to create responsive UI components using React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging sessions, and unit testing to ensure code quality and adherence to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
- Utilize version control tools like GitHub and TFS for source code management; implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Apply Agile methodologies to manage project tasks efficiently within sprints; participate in daily stand-ups and planning meetings.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation using UML diagrams and technical specifications for ongoing support and future enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of OOP principles and multithreading concepts.
- Proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring (including Spring MVC), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with front-end development using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
- Solid knowledge of database design, SQL (T-SQL), PL/SQL, stored procedures, and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar databases.
- Familiarity with web services protocols including RESTful APIs and SOAP; experience integrating third-party APIs is a plus.
- Experience working within an SDLC environment utilizing tools like Eclipse or Visual Studio; familiarity with SVN or Git for version control.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment; understanding of microservices architecture is desirable.
- Strong debugging skills along with experience in unit testing frameworks; familiarity with TFS or similar tools for task management.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment; excellent problem-solving skills combined with clear communication abilities.
- Additional skills such as Python scripting, Shell scripting (Bash), Application development on Linux environments, or Drupal CMS are advantageous.
