Registered Nurse-Operating Room
Location: York, Maine
Pay Rate: $50/hr $55/hr
Shift: Day Shift, 6:45 AM 4:15 PM
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 4x9-hour shifts with call required
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 5 years OR experience preferred
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Operating Room for a day shift opportunity in York, Maine. This role is ideal for an OR RN with strong orthopedic experience and the ability to both circulate and scrub in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
Circulate and scrub for operating room procedures
Support orthopedic surgical cases and OR workflow
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical team members
Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
Assist with procedure preparation, intraoperative care, and room turnover
Participate in required call coverage
Requirements
Active Maine Registered Nurse license required
Minimum 5 years Operating Room experience preferred
Strong orthopedic OR experience required
Circulating and scrub experience required
BLS/BCLS required
ACLS required
Must be available for Monday Thursday day shifts and call coverage
Accurate timecard completion required for processing
