THE OPPORTUNITY
Visionary ASC is building the national infrastructure for specialist-led, value-based gynecologic surgery. We operate ambulatory surgery centers in Maryland and New Jersey with robotic surgical capability, and our clinical team has published six peer-reviewed studies documenting outcomes and cost advantages that no competitor can match. We are building a patient navigation and specialist discovery platform designed specifically for women seeking advanced gynecologic care — connecting patients with fellowship-trained GYN specialists, covered by insurance, guided by live care coordinators. Nothing like it exists in this specialty.
We are looking for the executive who will build this platform's market presence from the ground up —while optimizing our existing patient acquisition program and building the employer-facing marketing infrastructure that supports our next phase of growth. This is a build opportunity. Not a maintenance role.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Platform Growth
- Drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement for a national women's health navigation platform
- Build and execute a content and SEO strategy that establishes the platform as the authoritative resource for women researching GYN surgical care
- Own the go-to-market plan for new markets as the platform expands nationally
Patient Acquisition
- Own and optimize the paid search program with accountability for cost-per-acquisition
- Build retargeting, referral, and organic channels that reduce dependence on paid acquisition over time
- Establish a reporting cadence that gives leadership clear visibility into funnel performance across all channels
Employer and Payer Marketing
- Build the employer-facing marketing program that supports the organization's direct-to-employer growth strategy
- Translate clinical outcomes data into materials that resonate with HR, benefits, and CFO audiences
Brand and Content
- Develop the brand voice and content architecture for the patient-facing platform
- Build condition and procedure content that educates patients and drives organic search authority
- Promote the organization's robotic surgical capability and physician partnership opportunities
Team and Partner Leadership
- Lead existing marketing contractors across social media and communications; build or hire for paid search capability
- Partner with technology and data vendors to support platform growth and physician data quality
- Set direction, establish accountability, and build toward a full in-house team over time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of marketing leadership with demonstrated ownership of growth at scale
- Experience building or growing a marketplace, directory, or navigation platform — in healthcare or an adjacent consumer category
- Hands-on PPC competency — able to build and run paid search directly, and to evaluate, hire, or manage the team or agency needed to scale it
- Strong analytical foundation — attribution, funnel analysis, channel mix modeling
- Exceptional written communication — able to make complex clinical and financial content accessible
- On-site in Rockville, MD. No remote arrangements.
STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Healthcare marketing experience — digital health, physician platforms, patient navigation, or health systems
- Experience developing employer-facing or payer-facing marketing materials
- Background in marketplace or consumer platform growth — healthcare or otherwise
- Comfort developing clinical subject matter expertise quickly
