What you will do:

Plan, coordinate, and execute women's ministry groups and activities that connect with women in meaningful and impactful ways

Provide weekend presence and intentionally engagement with women at your campus

Help Identify, recruit, train, and develop coaches, leaders, and volunteers who serve within women's ministry

Encourage and support women's ministry volunteers, group leaders, and campus life by building relationships with them and keeping in regular contact via phone, email, or in-person meetings

Support and attend women's ministry events (and centrally as needed) & campus team meetings

Collaborate with women's ministry team to ensure that events remain consistent with the mission and objectives for women's ministry

Participate in Membership Classes & Interviews, as well as Baptism Services & Interviews, and Occasional weekend hosting

Share with women's ministry team in providing care or mentoring for women in spiritual, emotional, or physical crisis

Administer 1:1 care as assigned by the Campus Pastor
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of work experience in any of the several contexts:
Administrative support, ministry, volunteer development, or other director level experience. While formal education beyond a high-school diploma is not required, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Beyond that, you may be a good candidate for this position if:
You have a heart for connecting women with each other, encouraging their faith and spiritual development, and seeing them grow in Christ. You actively pursue God and you want to help other women do the same.
You are a planner, well-organized, and you enjoy making sure that even the small details are in order. Coordinating groups and individuals can be complex. You are a resourceful and quick thinker who can foresee potential challenges and proactively propose solutions.
You are a strong communicator both verbally and in writing and have deep biblical knowledge.
You are able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
You have solid interpersonal and leadership skills. You will train group leaders, volunteers, and others who support groups - so you will need to provide clear direction to them and be approachable when they have questions. Having the ability to manage confidential information and be able to lead others through intensities if it should arrise within groups.
Many events take place outside of a typical 9-5 workday. You should be available to work when events are scheduled which may include weekends, some evenings, or occasional holidays.
Finally, you should be a committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ. Membership at Ada Bible Church is not a prerequisite for hire, but you should be willing to become a member within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with our statement of faith and staff values.
