Job Summary:-
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a PCU/Stepdown position supporting an ER Holding Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong PCU experience and the ability to care for a diverse, higher-acuity patient population.
Responsibilities:-
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to PCU/Stepdown patients.
- Monitor and assess patients for changes in condition.
- Care for cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and critical-care patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and document strips in the medical record.
Requirements:-
- Active RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience
- Or 1 year of PCU + 1 year of Telemetry, ER, or ICU experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- ACLS and BLS required.
