About the Position
Victory Drain Cleaning is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Shop Hand / Expeditor to support our field technicians and keep operations running smoothly. This role is essential to ensuring that job sites receive the correct parts and equipment on time, that our plumbers have the labor support they need, and that our shop remains clean, organized, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Jobsite Support & Expediting
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts, tools, and equipment to various job sites throughout the day
- Pick up materials from suppliers as directed
- Communicate with office staff and field plumbers regarding order status, delivery timing, and material needs
- Ensure accurate tracking of pick-ups, drop-offs, and inventory transfers
General Labor Assistance (Non-Plumbing Tasks)
- Assist our plumbers with physical labor duties such as:
- Digging trenches or access holes
- Carrying equipment and materials
- Site cleanup and debris removal
- Setting up and breaking down work areas
- Follow safety procedures and support the team in maintaining a safe job site
Shop & Storage Area Maintenance
- Keep the shop, storage areas, and vehicles clean, organized, and stocked
- Load/unload equipment and restock materials as needed
- Help maintain inventory levels and report shortages or damaged equipment
- Perform basic facility upkeep and light maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to take direction
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions when assisting outdoors
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in construction, excavation, plumbing support, or general labor
- Mechanical aptitude or comfort with tools and equipment
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
