Iowa Sports Management's Personal Trainers provide customized fitness programs for members and clients. They hold nationally recognized certifications and stay up-to-date on new fitness trends in order to best serve their clients. They correspond and follow up with new and potential clients, maintain relationships with current clients, log sessions, and communicate with the Personal Training Director to help facilitate program growth and company standards.
Other Primary Tasks

Keep up-to-date with new and popular training techniques and specializations.

Meet with new clients to create individualized programs based on client’s goals, current physical condition, workout history, etc.

Track progress and adjust workouts to help client reach established goals

Follow up with prospective clients in order to grow client base. Respond to emails and return client communications in a timely manner.

Maintain client and potential client communications. Arrive on time for sessions and events in uniform and ready to train.

Input client sessions ahead of schedule and in order to maintain proper communication with club staff. Log sessions after completion.

Be reachable to Personal Training Director and clients on a regular basis
Secondary Tasks

Attend events to help promote One-On-One Program in different clubs as needed.

Abide by varying rules and regulations in different facilities and be able to adjust workouts accordingly.

Be familiar with various brands and types of exercise equipment.

Be available in different locations and able to travel to different clients.

Current nationally recognized personal training certification and American Red Cross CPR certification or equivalent.

Available to work early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

Ability to interact in a friendly, personal, and professional manner with patrons and clients.

Ability to demonstrate exercises for clients.
