Coosa Valley Financial Group is a growing company located in Rome, GA. We have moved to our new location at 413 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165. We are looking for highly motivated, eager professionals to fill an open insurance producer slot.
One open slot is for a Property and Casualty Producer. We are only seeking agents with proven experience producing and generating new business or have existing proven contacts for producing consistent business.
We are able to market both personal and commercial carriers, so any experience with commercial production is a huge plus at this time.
We have many carriers/opportunities for a candidate that is also a Life/Health licensed agent for Life, Health, Med Supplement, LTC, Worksite Benefits, Disability, etc...
Requirements:
- Strong Customer Service Background.
- Desire to develop a long-term career or have an existing book of business to jump start career.
- Ability to complete tasks without constant supervision is a must.
- Motivated to find tasks that need to be completed is desired.
- Ability to self generate leads using sales techniques while also using various company provided lead sources.
- Experience in Insurance Industry is a must.
- Current Georgia Property and Casualty Insurance License is a must.
- Current Georgia Life/Health Insurance License is a plus; ability to obtain one is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and be a part of the team.
- Experience selling Insurance is a must.
- Experience with Commercial Insurance is a huge plus.
Duties of an Insurance Producer include: actively producing new Property and Casualty and/or Life/Health business from both Personal and Commercial lines as well as retaining existing business. Life/Health license is a plus creating more opportunities for commission sales. Career possibilities include new business commissions with a temporary draw to establish your new business sources and renewal commissions from your book as you build your business. Looking for experienced producers only.
Producer Requirements include: able to be on time, able to provide/pass a background check, and have already or able to obtain before hire a Georgia P&C and Life/Health license. Proven experience producing commercial and/or personal lines P&C insurance business or Life/Health insurance business is required with an emphasis on developing new business sources. Monthly production requirements must be met with a 30/60/90 day review.
Compensation is commission based; CVFG is able to help the candidate with a supplement to the compensation based upon experience and skill set for a limited time based upon meeting ongoing monthly production requirements. Several voluntary benefits are available. 401k and a contribution to your outside health insurance coverage is available after one year of employment. Long-term retirement, death, or disability benefit based upon years of service and renewal book available after 5 years of employment and certain age conditions if retiring.
