We are looking for an experienced and motivated mechanic to join our team in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities include:
· Inspecting and diagnosing equipment issues accurately
· Repairing a wide range of equipment, including:
o Riding lawn mowers
o Walk-behind mowers
o Rototillers
o Edgers
o Chainsaws
o Two-cycle equipment and related machinery
· Performing repairs efficiently in a high-volume shop
· Assisting with customer service when needed, including speaking directly with customers about equipment issues
· Loading and unloading equipment
· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
· Looking up parts and researching using parts databases and online systems
Required Qualifications
· Proven experience repairing lawn and garden equipment (see job description)
· Ability to lift 50–75 lbs as needed
· Strong physical stamina: able to stand, kneel, sit, stoop, twist, and climb stairs for extended periods
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing as part of a team
· Self-motivated and dependable
· Willingness to assist customers at the front counter during busy periods
· Ability to follow directions carefully
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an organized workspace
· Basic computer skills
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
