Avon Eye Care is a well establish optometric practice in the Farmington Valley region of Connecticut. We pride ourselves in providing an exceptional eye care experience for every individual we encounter. We tackle every aspects of the eye care field from annual eye exam, fitting for eye glasses and contact lenses to treating different eye diseases.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team who is interested in all aspects of the profession from patient care to optical. We believe that this is a great opportunity for someone who is striving to grow professionally but looking for work-life balance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing pre-diagnostic testing on patients. Performing medical testing such as Visual Field testing and OCT.
- Documentation of medical information into electronic health records.
- Assist Opticician with daily Optician tasks such as checking glasses, inputting orders, and occasionally assist patient in glasses selection.
- Other general office tasks as needed such as scanning or filing.
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- 1-2 year experience in any MEDICAL FIELD preferred
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Upbeat, friendly, and excellent communication skills
PART-TIME: Monday, Tuesday , Thursday. Work hours would be 7:30a to 4p, with approx hour lunch daily from 12-1. NO WEEKENDS. Apply today by submitting a resume and cover letter.
