Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead a crew of laborers in completing site preparation projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can direct daily operations, coordinate work assignments, and ensure projects are completed according to company and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of laborers on site preparation projects.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Oversee site preparation activities, including clearing, grading assistance, material handling, and general labor.
- Monitor productivity and maintain quality standards throughout the project.
- Ensure all crew members follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate with project managers regarding job progress, materials, and equipment needs.
- Train and mentor crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and identify potential job site hazards.
- Inspect work areas to ensure projects are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Operate equipment when necessary and assist the crew with physical labor as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Crew Leader, or Construction Supervisor.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with site preparation, construction, excavation, or general labor projects.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and communicate expectations to the crew.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
