The Process Engineer II is responsible for day to day processing of new MEMS/lithography projects as well as the support for the processing equipment. Process Engineer II will be expected to perform internal presentations for technicians as well as perform hands-on training when needed. This position will develop improvements in process performance, tool capability, and product performance. Required to perform solo development work as well as possible white paper collaborations. Main processing areas are photolithography, etch, and thin film deposition.
Responsibilities
Process Engineering
- Develop new processes and tooling capabilities to support internal processing.
- Work on assigned customer specific projects; coordinate with project manager to keep customers updated.
- Assist production team in troubleshooting both process issues and basic equipment issues.
- Document and communicate robust processes and DOE results.
- Support engineering work performed by process technicians.
- Support the transfer of customer device fabrication processes from engineering to production.

Quality
- Update SWIs as procedures change.
- Perform regular presentations to keep technician training up to date.
- Maintain integrity of the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Bachelors Degree and 2+ years prior experience in hands on work within the industry.

Quick learner and able to work competently in a high-pressure environment.

Position requires work for extended hours in cleanroom environment.

Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Must have good interpersonal skills and computer literate.
