JOB Under general supervision, the
Janitor performs routine cleaning duties in the Authority's buildings and general grounds. Duties include cleaning floors, washing walls and windows, and removing trash. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Sweeps,mops, and scrubs offices, stairs and bathrooms
- Empties waste paper baskets and trash containers
- Ensures that there is an adequate supply of drinking water for office personnel
- May secure office at closing time
- Operates janitorial equipment and tools
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION High school diploma, or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in custodial work.
