About the Role
As a Metal Finishing Production Lead, you will direct the daily activities of our plating department to ensure superior surface quality and operational excellence. You will leverage your technical expertise in electrochemical processes to mentor staff, optimize throughput, and maintain rigorous safety and environmental compliance.
Responsibilities-
Direct daily plating workflows, ensuring all output meets stringent quality specifications and safety protocols.

Cultivate a high-performing team through hands-on coaching, technical training, and effective resource allocation.

Drive production efficiency by managing schedules, minimizing downtime, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Perform detailed root cause analysis on non-conforming products to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Maintain precise documentation of production metrics, inventory, and wastewater treatment compliance.

Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track progress and ensure seamless coordination between departments.

Oversee the maintenance and calibration of critical equipment, including overhead cranes and precision measurement tools.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent.

3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial chrome plating or metal finishing.

1+ year of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong proficiency in blueprint reading, precision measurement (calipers/micrometers), and visual inspection.

Solid understanding of hazardous materials handling and environmental safety regulations.

Technical degree or specialized certification in metal finishing.

Experience with 5 Why or other structured root cause analysis methodologies.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Prior experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
