Duties
- Supervise students during lunch periods to maintain order and safety within the cafeteria.
- Enforce school rules and behavior expectations, addressing conflicts promptly with effective conflict management techniques.
- Assist in monitoring student activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance by applying appropriate behavior management strategies.
- Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents as needed to promote a positive cafeteria experience.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to address behavioral issues and implement classroom experience best practices.
- Respond quickly to emergencies or incidents by administering basic first aid when necessary and following established protocols.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, staff, and parents.
- Experience working with children and understanding child development principles.
