We’re partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MI that is looking for a skilled Swiss Lathe Machinist to join their weekend day shift team.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss-style CNC machines and/or mill-turn equipment
- Run precision parts in a high-quality production environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, schematics, and GD&T documentation
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Make machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and production standards
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production issues
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and production-ready
- Follow all safety, quality, and documentation procedures
- Work closely with team members, leads, and quality personnel to keep jobs moving efficiently
- Support continuous improvement by helping identify ways to improve setup, workflow, and part quality
What They’re Looking For
- 2+ years of CNC operation experience
- Experience with Swiss-style machining and/or mill-turn CNC machines strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
- Strong understanding of mechanical measurements and tight-tolerance work
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and precision inspection tools
- Comfortable working with high-speed machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and improve your skill set
- Ability to stand and walk for a full shift
