HVAC Service Technician – Part Time
About the Role
Keystone Heating and Cooling is the in-house HVAC service provider for Grimm Commercial's Tucson-area commercial property portfolio. We're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to start immediately — several properties currently have open tenant service requests for AC repair that need a tech on-site right away. This is steady, ongoing work across an established portfolio of properties, not a cold-call or lead-chasing position.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems — heating, cooling, and ventilation — across commercial and residential properties.
- Respond promptly to service calls, including after-hours and emergency calls, to get tenant systems back online quickly.
- Install new systems when needed, to spec and to code.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently long-term.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and field experience.
- Keep detailed service reports and manage parts/inventory.
- Communicate clearly with property managers and tenants about findings and needed repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies on-site.
What You Need
- Extensive hands-on HVAC repair experience, commercial and residential.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field with minimal oversight.
- Your own tools and equipment to perform service and repairs.
- Comfort reading technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Availability for on-call emergency service rotation.
- Nice to have: basic plumbing or welding skills, appliance repair experience.
