Job Description
Pay Rate: $19.65 per hour
SHIFT: HOURS VARIES
10PM-6AM +OT
- Lifts live chickens off of a moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles.
- Operate and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever
- Remove birds off the conveyor belt that are deemed “Dead on Arrival.”
- Utilize high pressure hose to wash empty coops and trailers
- Picks up “Dead on Arrival” and loose chickens off of the floor
- Cleans up feathers and other debris into gondala or tanks
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8+HRS) on the concrete/metal grate ergo stands on the floor
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to meet company established standards
- Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4-10LBS
- Able to work in a dark, dusty, cold, or hot environment
