Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our Centennial Volkswagen team. As a Salesperson, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers throughout their car-buying journey, helping them find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs. Your strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction will contribute to the dealership's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, actively listening to their needs and preferences.
Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles, including their features, specifications, and available options, to assist customers in making informed decisions.
Vehicle Presentations: Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives, showcasing the benefits and features of Volkswagen models to potential buyers.
Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, pricing, financing options, and trade-in evaluations.
Customer Education: Educate customers on available Volkswagen promotions, warranties, and after-sales services.
Sales Goals: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Lead Management: Manage and follow up on leads, both in-person and through digital channels, to build and maintain a robust customer database.
Paperwork and Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
Networking: Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Product Updates: Stay informed about Volkswagen product updates, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other sales team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a college degree is a plus).
- Proven sales experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on products and features.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Sales certification or training is advantageous but not required.
