We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance and repair operations across our multifamily portfolio in the San Antonio area. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to manage a broad range of maintenance needs. HVAC certification is required, as this position will serve as the primary point of contact for all heating, cooling, and ventilation system repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance across 120+ units, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and attractive environment for residents.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems; perform preventative maintenance in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance installation, and general building systems.
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records of repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with property management to prioritize urgent and routine maintenance requests.
- Manage vendor relationships for specialized repairs outside the technician’s scope.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for daily operations.
Qualifications
- HVAC certification required
- 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
