Duties
- Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools fit specific spaces
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, and other designated areas following safety protocols and project specifications.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues, adjust fabrication processes, and ensure proper fitting of insulation components.
- Apply caulking, sealing, and trimming techniques to ensure airtight insulation coverage and optimal energy efficiency.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste materials properly, and adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is highly preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools used in insulation work
- Experience with fabrication techniques involving foam boards or fiberglass materials enhances effectiveness on the job site.
- Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces while maintaining attention to detail throughout each phase of installation. Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
