Live-In Senior Caregiver

Private household seeking a reliable, experienced live-in senior caregiver supporting two seniors in their 80s and focuses on safety, continuity, and respectful in-home care.
This is not an agency role. We are hiring directly and value professionalism, accountability, and clear communication.
Schedule:
- Weekday: 8 am Monday through 8 am Friday - errands, meals, food management, light housekeeping in shared spaces
- Overnight presence required
Core Responsibilities
- Medication prompting and documentation (no independent medical decision-making)
- Assistance with mobility and daily routines
- Able to work as a part of a care team and follow the handbook and guidelines
- Meal preparation and light household support
- Companionship and supervision, including memory-care awareness
- Transportation to appointments and errands as needed
- Maintaining a safe, calm, and organized home environment
- Observing and reporting notable changes to the family as appropriate
Qualifications
- Must be credentialed (CNA, HHA, LPN, or RN)
- Experience with senior care required
- Memory care and diabetes familiarity strongly preferred
- CPR / First Aid certified
- Non-smoker
- COVID Vaccinated
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable in a live-in setting
- Able to follow structured routines and documentation expectations
Important Notes
- This is a fully documented, on-the-books position
- Candidates must be comfortable with formal accountability and record-keeping
- Final candidates will be required to complete screening through Care.com (background check and profile) as part of our standard screening process.
- Process Steps: If you apply and meet requirements, you may be selected for initial screening. If you pass initial screening there is a further interview. If you pass the interview, then we commence with background and certification checks. When that passes there is a meet and greet with the family. If you are offered a position there is a contract which must be signed, professional liability COI requirements which must be met prior to start date and final executed contract acceptance.
