We are seeking dedicated Weekend Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic logistics and distribution team. This role is essential in supporting efficient warehouse operations during weekend shifts, ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency with warehouse equipment, a keen eye for safety, and a proactive approach to inventory management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and logistics within a fast-paced environment committed to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist with order picking and packing processes using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Conduct manual handling of products, ensuring proper stacking, stocking, and organization within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory control procedures using inventory management software.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper packaging in compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA standards and safety protocols while operating heavy machinery and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles with familiarity in warehouse operations.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Experience with order fulfillment processes such as picking & packing, shipping & receiving.
- Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
