Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality standards are met
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy periods
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment while supervising food production for casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet events
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on kitchen operations
- Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
- Familiarity with food safety standards and certifications related to food handling and sanitation
- Experience with inventory control systems and budgeting within the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
- Prior experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Background in hotel or bar settings along with catering or banquet experience is advantageous
