About the Role:
This role is part of the Environment, Health, and Safetyfunction and provides strategic oversight across facilities, operations, andmobile or field activities. The position independently navigates complexoperational, compliance, and stakeholder challenges while exercising soundjudgment and ensuring alignment with global standards across accounts ormarkets.
What You’ll Do:
- Independently resolve complex operational and regulatoryissues while balancing business, internal and external partner needs
- Communicate critical information clearly and concisely toleaders at all levels
- Promote a proactive culture that drives team engagementand compliance
- Implement and review procedures to push programconsistency and efficiency
- Evaluate operational and safety risks across facilitiesand field activities and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee vehicles and mobile equipment used in servicedelivery and ensure associated risks are effectively managed
- Ensure inspections, maintenance, compliance documentation,and incident investigations are completed and corrective actions areimplemented
- Analyze injury, illness, and incident trends and recommendpreventive actions
- Monitor regulatory compliance across accounts, markets, orregions and partner with management to implement sustainable solutions
- Identify emerging concerns, communicate findings andsuggest corrective actions to responsible managers
- Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and buildalignment among teams
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education willbe considered
- Additional certifications as required by the local authority
- Skilled in adopting and leveraging digital platforms and business systems
- Ability to independently manage sensitive and complex situations using soundjudgment, discretion, and effective communication
- Leadership skills to drivequality, efficiency, and team performance
- Working knowledge of vehicle andmobile equipment safety, inspections, and compliance requirements, withexperience overseeing operational assets or field activities across multiplesites or locations
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Physical Requirements:The ability to:
- Remain stationary for extended periods while working at acomputer and using standard office equipment
- Frequently operate computers, phones, and other officeequipment
- Move throughout office, warehouse, manufacturing,laboratory, construction, and outdoor environments to conduct inspections,assessments, and investigations
- Walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and navigate active workenvironments
- Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50pounds
- Travel between facilities and work locations as needed
- Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions whileconducting site visits and field assessments
