Valley Lo is a private club located on the North Shore of Chicago. We specialize in providing world class service to our members. Our restaurant is considered an upscale contemporary American establishment that features outstanding food & beverage options in a casual atmosphere. The host position is the first contact with our members. A sharp appearance is essential. We are seeking somebody that is professional, yet comfortable enough to be themselves. The following are some of the job functions of our host position.
- Greet and seat members on a pre-defined floor plan
- Take reservations by phone and in person; subsequently assign to a table in our dining rooms
- Lead dining members to table with menus and assign table to respective server
- Accept carryout orders and place in POS
- Maintain tally sheet logs and deliver to managers mailbox at end of shift
- Occasionally provide wait service to a table
- Other relevant tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
