LeisureTowne, a beautiful 55+ active adult community with 2,255 homes nestled in the Pinelands National Reserve, is looking for a dedicated Custodian/Porter to join our team. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a vibrant community, we encourage you to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities and preparing our spaces for the many social, cultural, and educational activities that bring our residents together.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas and restrooms.
· Efficiently set up and break down tables, chairs, and other equipment for meetings, events, and functions according to event schedules. Able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
· Manage trash and recycling removal.
· Monitor and restock custodial and restroom supplies.
· Ensure our community buildings are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents and guests.
· Light maintenance duties.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a custodial, janitorial, and light maintenance role is preferred.
· Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving tables and chairs.
· Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
· Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
· Valid NJ Driver’s License
Schedule & Compensation:
· Work Week: Friday-Tuesday
· Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
