Job Summary
- Report any safety issues immediately.
- Process work assignments in the lab and all areas requiring assistance daily.
- Ability to write programming or understand, train and then write programming.
- Assist outside supplier of computer and programs with concerns as they arise.
- General repairs using knowledge and teamwork. (test boards, electrical, jigs, fixtures, adjustments)
- Assist in diagnosing a repair for production equipment and facilities.
- Understand pneumatic and electrical supply to equipment.
- Design and build test equipment for finished products.
- Basic understanding of web searches for components, parts, new equipment, UL research and communications.
- Coordinate with outside suppliers and retrieve identification and ability to order tooling.
- Work with all departments on projects and have a key role in bringing them to closure.
-Travel on occasion to assist other facilities (less than 5% of the annual schedule)
- Upon request other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
Education / Qualifications / Experience:
- Associate’s degree Electrical Engineering Technology (preferred)
- 5 years of manufacturing / computer programming knowledge. (preferred)
- Self-motivated and ability to motivate all team members.
- Basic trouble shooting ability.
