Therapy Essentials is seeking a COTA to fill a part-time position available in office.
- Join a great team in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Treat patients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the occupational therapist (OTR)
- Monitor patient activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement
- Contribute to meetings , parent conferences, etc.
- Document patient’s weekly progress in records including electronic medical records.
- Document in session, utilizing any cancellations to finish documentation, and/or preparing for another session.
- Maintain the office treatment areas, equipment, and area clean
- Instruct patients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the patient's treatment program
- Keep work area clean and sanitized.
- After school hours and Fridays currently available
- Possibility to grow caseload
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
