We are seeking a highly skilled Large Multi-Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team producing complex, tight-tolerance components for high-performance industries, including aerospace.
This is a hands-on, shop-floor role working with advanced CNC milling equipment in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You’ll support machining of large, complex parts where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship directly impact production success.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and run large multi-axis CNC milling machines (3–5 axis preferred)

Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements

Perform setups, tooling changes, offsets, and program adjustments as needed

Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy

Optimize machining processes to improve cycle time, quality, and efficiency

Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Partner with engineering and quality teams to refine processes and resolve issues

Maintain machine uptime, cleanliness, and basic preventative maintenance

Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
Knowledge & Experience:
-
3+ years CNC machining experience (level dependent)

Experience with multi-axis CNC milling (and/or turning)

Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills

Hands-on experience with setups, tooling, and machining adjustments

Ability to hold tight tolerances on large and complex components

Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education
-
High School Diploma or GED required

Large-scale or heavy industrial machining experience

CAD/CAM exposure (Mastercam, NX, or similar)
