RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Receive, properly date and rotate, and store products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices.

Deliver products to retail department according to a delivery schedule or by requisitions.

Decant products following FIFO practices and handle food according to HACCP/food safety Guidelines.

Break down cardboard and follow the recycling process.

Keep work area/department clean and organized and perform other tasks assigned as needed.

Excellent performance, attendance, and safety record

Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes

Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment

Must be able to date product and verify information

Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold environment

Must be able to work around moving equipment and wet floors

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and push up to 100 lbs (on rolling stock)

Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift

Must be able to use electrical and manual pallet jack

Must be able to read, write and speak English

Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Days off subject to change due to shift bidding

Previous forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred
