Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure and safe environment
- Protect the property, assets, and individuals from theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations
Requirements:
- Must have valid D and G licenses
- Must possess a valid armed security officer license/certificate
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Note: This position requires the candidate to be armed while on duty. The candidate must meet all legal requirements for carrying a firearm.
