Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
- Handle chemical agents safely, following all safety protocols for cleaning solutions and disinfectants
- Assist with manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to proper ergonomic practices
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning stations as needed
- Follow environmental services standards by disposing of waste properly and using eco-friendly cleaning products when possible
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including chemical handling and floor care
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with environmental safety standards related to chemical agents and waste disposal
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts
