The Opportunity
The global SDA market is valued at approximately $2 billion in 2025, growing at 15% CAGR toward $7 billion by 2033. In April 2026, the U.S. Space Force opened a 10-year, $1.8 billion contract vehicle for next-generation SDA capabilities. We are positioning Orbital Sentinel to compete for this opportunity, beginning with the TechConnect Critical Technologies Spotlight: Space program and SBIR/OTA partnerships.
We Are Open To Two Co-Founder Profiles
Profile 1 — Technical Co-Founder
Responsibilities: • Co-lead architecture and development of the multi-agent AI system (LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, agent workflows) • Build and scale real-time data infrastructure (Kafka/streaming pipelines, cloud-native deployment) • Contribute to robotics simulation capability (ROS2, orbital mechanics modeling)
Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience with LLM-based agent systems or applied AI/ML engineering • Strong backend/distributed systems background • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Defense, aerospace, or regulated-industry software experience a plus
Profile 2 — Business / Go-to-Market Co-Founder
Responsibilities: • Lead business development with DoD program offices, defense primes, and SBIR/OTA opportunities • Drive fundraising strategy and investor relationships • Own partnership development with space industry data providers and integrators
Qualifications: • Experience with SBIR/OTA proposals, government contracting, or DoD program engagement • Existing relationships within the space, defense, or aerospace sectors • Track record in early-stage fundraising or business development
Compensation This is a co-founder role, not an employee position: significant equity stake plus a future salary contingent on funding (SBIR award, seed round, or contract revenue). Compensation and equity split to be discussed directly and structured formally upon mutual fit.
Pay: $102,782.44 - $123,781.00 per year
