At Align Massage & Yoga Studio, we offer more than massage—we hold space for healing. We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who is passionate about their craft, committed to personal and professional growth, and ready to develop a loyal clientele in a collaborative wellness space.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position with a competitive 60% commission, and a 10% increase after serving 10+ clients per week. Ideal for someone who values autonomy while working within a supportive, heart-centered team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customized therapeutic massage sessions to meet individual client needs
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, ashiatsu, thai massage, buccal, stretch therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, energy healing techniques, chiropractic (if licensed), and/or others.
- Conduct thorough client assessments and maintain SOAP notes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space
- Rebook clients and take payment directly after each session
- Manage your own laundry and supply needs
- Stay current with continuing education and emerging massage therapy practices
- Maintain consistent availability and communicate schedule changes clearly
- Participate in occasional collaborative marketing efforts (optional)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of Missouri (required)
- Proficient in therapeutic modalities such as deep tissue, trigger point, and relaxation massage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with reliability and professionalism
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Client-focused approach with a desire to educate and empower
- Comfortable using medical terminology in documentation and communication
- Alignment with holistic wellness values and a desire to contribute to a healing environment
